Volunteer Bond 

VWP Volunteer Bond Policy (Feb 2025)

The Bond will be refunded at a rate of either 50% of the total amount or 100% upon the completion of enough volunteer hours within the fiscal year and the correct submission of a Volunteer Bond Claim Form.

The Volunteer Requirements for Reimbursement of the Bond are:

• $25 Bond: minimum 2 hours of club support for 50%, minimum 4 hours of club support for 100%

• $150 Bond: minimum 10 hours of club support for 50%, minimum 20 hours of club support for 100%

• $250 Bond: minimum 15 hours of club support for 50%, minimum 30 hours of club support for 100%

Volunteer Hours may be Completed by an Athlete or Family Member

• The volunteer must be registered as a volunteer in the RAMP Registration System.

• The Volunteer Bond Claim Form is an online form that is used to track your volunteer hours with the club and must be completed and submitted by June 30 of any given year to ensure a refund of the Bond.

• The Volunteer Bond will be returned via e-transfer or other method as decided by the board.

• If multiple athletes from the same household are registered, each athlete is subject to a separate Volunteer Bond and must submit a separate Volunteer Bond Claim Form.

• Volunteer hours cannot be combined across athletes, and each athlete’s bond must be earned back individually based on the required hours.
