2023-24 Information

ADULT PROGRAMS

Stay Active, Build Fitness and Have a lot of Fun!

Our adult programs are for athletes who have previous Water Polo experience although we do sometimes have former competitive swimmers come and join us.

We warm up for the first 20 minutes, split up the people who show up, and scrimmage for the rest of the time.

This program is about having fun playing Water Polo and being respectful to our fellow teammates and referees.

Although it is for athletes who are 18+, high school-aged athletes from the competitive program also play in the Open Women's and Open Men's scrimmage.

FREQUENCY

1x-2x/week for 1.5 Hours/practice

WHEN & WHERE

Adult scrimmages are held at Pan Am Pool [25 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg, MB].

Practices may occasionally change (time and location) or be cancelled throughout the season due to events (such as swim meets), holidays, or when coaches are away with other teams. When possible, we will always make an effort to organize additional training opportunities. 

Adult Programs run from September 2023 to June 2024

COMPETITIONS

Local Events

All athletes can play in the MB Winter League and MB Provincials. These are excellent events to gain playing experience and the cost of playing in these events is covered by the club with support by Manitoba Water Polo and Sport Manitoba.

FEES

Each scrimmage costs $350 for the full season plus association membership

Summer Session: TBC

Association Membership: At checkout, you will be charged $35.34 for a Water Polo Canada/Manitoba Water Polo Association annual Community Membership (membership is valid from Sep 2023 to Aug 2024). You may need to upgrade to a Provincial Membership if you want to play in Winter League and MB Provincials (additional $40.87).
